Working with Futura Games has been really great. The teamwork and atmosphere is amazing. One of the best qualities for me is the freedom to contribute ideas from game mechanics, to building your own track. So here is my destruction track. The figure 8 is modeled in Blender textures on the figure 8 are also original and done by me. The base terrain was made with Unity's Terrain editor features, with custom textures and materials by me. The loop was made by another one of our artists on the 3d team magnus. the Futura bot depicted as graffiti decals was design by our marketing lead. Other assets have been acquired either paid or free on the Unity asset store with lods, textures materials, in some cases geometry itself all updated by me to fix bugs, improve performance, and or just make it look better.
The track features a crazy steep berm on either end of the figure 8 leading to a massive jump. In side of the figure 8 are areas where up to 20 players will battle it out for ultimate destruction. I also wanted to add some chaos by having physically interactive junked cars and trucks added to the action, along with a fence loosely protecting people from instant death if/when they fall in the fire pit all of these can be toppled an interacted with in game play including the barrels of rockets. .
Ultimately it's my hope that all of these features should be good for some fun multiplayer chaos.
