Sonic The Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Fan Art Poster

A little fan art I made to be printed as a poster for my son's bedroom. He loves Sonic the Hedgehog and these are his favorite forms. My favorite overall style look for Sonic is from the Sonic Generations game, so I used that as a reference largely for the background trees totem poles and flowers, but I also used a some influence from the original game and a different style mouth. I made a rigged mouth which I could use across all the sonics including wide open mouth Sonic.exe and Fleetway Sonic (so there is different look to some of the sonics in general due to the mouth).

This was a good chance to practice modeling, rigging, posing, shader exploration, and scene creation. Everything modeled from scratch and textures from scratch etc...(basically practicing asset creation).
