Explosion and Weapons Effects work for Smash Track Drifters

This a quick demo of some of the "boom" effects I got to work on in Smash Track Drifters beyond tracks, materials, lighting, and cars.

The screen explosions and fireworks were created by me utilizing a combination of techniques including: particle systems, swapped damaged meshes created in blender, and some assets already in the game.

The smoke, fire, and gun effects were tweaked by me from existing assets. I modified the particle systems, materials, blending methods, lighting support, and created normal map textures for more detailed look. also converted an existing asset materials from built-in render engine to URP.

All effects are designed to be lightweight and performance friendly.

Fireworks derived from custom particles effects from me including missile type projectile integrated into existing rocket smoke assets. Smoke sparks and trails configured/converted by me to work in URP (original rocket asset was Built render pipeline).

Modified and enhanced fire effects and screen effects with post processing. Scripted flickering point light for fire pit for extra level lighting effect.
