My responsibilities for the trailer:
-Getting everything setup for Eevee rendering to make rendering time is feasible on 1 PC.
-scene setup and Blender setup
-updating game models to high poly with some facial shape keys for expressions
-lighting
-all animation (combination of Mixamo, shapekeys, and animating by hand)
-camera
-all VFX
-any new props and environments needed for the trailer (entire bar scene minus the gun, sunglasses, peanuts+bowl, and part of the ash tray)
-all rendering
My work visible in the gameplay footage:
-reflected caustics that hit environment and characters outside of the water
-explosions
-smoke
-particles generated from interactions like c4 explosions (tattered boxes, ash from ashtray, splintered wood etc...)
-atmospheric dust and particles which react to explosions
-camera projection beam
-impact effects (these have been improved since gameplay footage was captured)
-general shader and material setup and/or tweaking
-troubleshooting some light map and reflection probe issues
Original texture work, character models, level props, warehouse environment, and boss room environment which are also used in the gameplay were created by our fantastic main 3D Artist Jeferson Sanchez: https://www.artstation.com/jesaro.
Final Steam Wishlist trailer with elements of gameplay
Uncut warehouse scene no gameplay
Unused un-refined effect but I still like the concept just didn't work for timing and flow in our case.
